WOW! The last few months have been a whirlwind. When God asked me to run for this position I never envisioned the amount of work it would require.

Our victory would not have been possible without the tireless effort of so many people. Go GREEN TEAM!!!!! I am convinced that you guys are the greatest group in the state. I am overwhelmed and humbled by the outpouring of support I have received. Whether you helped us financially, walked with us in parades, knocked on doors, helped with our events, spoke a kind word to us, or prayed for us, you are the reason this was possible. The greatest surprise of this campaign for me was the generosity of the people around me. I will work diligently to represent you to very best of my ability.

Please continue to remember me and my family in your prayers. I am sure we will need them as we move into this new season of life.

On this Memorial Day I would like to express my deepest gratitude for our fighting men and women, which are the greatest military ever. From my family to yours, thank you for your great sacrifice and servitude to us. In the words of Thomas Jefferson, ” Whatever enables us to go to war, secures our peace.”

This Memorial Day has more significance to our family than ever, since we will send our eldest niece, Ashley, to basic training tomorrow morning. We are so proud of Ashley and her courage and commitment to serving our country. We are also aware of the sacrifice of her parents, family, and friends as we say goodbye for the summer. We love you, Ash! You make us smile.

This week is National Small Business Week. I believe small business owners everywhere deserve recognition for the job they do. Their hard work, dedication and entrepreneurial spirit define the heart of Americans. Small business owners create great jobs for others and provide great products and services to the people they serve.

However, small businesses are under attack by liberals who want to over-tax and over-regulate them. These big government principles will do nothing but destroy our small businesses and cause these great job creating machines to stop functioning. One of the biggest reasons I want to become the State Representative for the people of the 143rd District is to protect our small businesses and family farms from these job destroying policies.

I believe in the American dream and I believe in small business. If you believe that it is the people of America that make our country great, join me as I fight to allow the great people of our country to create jobs.

Thank you to all the owners and employees of small businesses in Missouri that are the driving force of our state’s economy. I salute you and wish you the best in your business ventures.

If one was in Shannon County last Saturday, the place to be was at the Hideout Ranch. JC and Nancy Ray opened up their beautiful home and hosted a candidate open house. I was honored to receive an invitation and more privileged to be present. I enjoyed meeting the great people at the heart of newly formed District 143–the people of Shannon County. The food alone was worth the trip. Good food + great people = best contacts. Besides, it is also home to Eminence’s very own “John Wayne Museum”.

Thanks,

Dent County Lincoln Days was a great event. It was good to see some old friends and make some new ones. I would like to thank Rep. Jason Smith for his kind words as he introduced me. I look forward to the opportunity to continue representing the people of Dent county with the same dedication as he has done over the past 5 years. We need to continue his message of common sense, Missouri values that protect our individual rights. If you agree that we need less regulation, so small business can kick start the economy again, please Join Us. We need support of all types to make this campaign successful.
