If one was in Shannon County last Saturday, the place to be was at the Hideout Ranch. JC and Nancy Ray opened up their beautiful home and hosted a candidate open house. I was honored to receive an invitation and more privileged to be present. I enjoyed meeting the great people at the heart of newly formed District 143–the people of Shannon County. The food alone was worth the trip. Good food + great people = best contacts. Besides, it is also home to Eminence’s very own “John Wayne Museum”.
